Overall it was a really enjoyable stay for one night. I had king room which was cheap, great bed. I loved a really nice restaurant with a vegetarian menu.

The location was exceptionally nice and absolutely perfect, relatively close to Chateau de Courseulles. The hotel was in a nice quiet area. It had a really nice restaurant which upholds the best traditions of French cuisine.

All in all, it was reasonable base for travelling to Courseulles-sur-Mer. The staff were easy going and the room was compact. The restaurant was stunning which upholds the best traditions of French cuisine, I tried savoury dishes. The beds were very comfy and the view of the ocean was great. The location was particularly good and fab, for example, a Canadian World War ii memorial museum was relatively close to the hotel. The stay was really really nice; nothing to complain about.

Do not compare La Cremaillere with other hotels. We loved LOVELY views from our room. Lots of restaurants to eat close by, like Cote Plage that was only 10 minutes' walk away.
There was no ventilation. The room was tiny.
